A basement in St. Louis, Missouri, started having cracks appear in the foundation walls. To address this concerning issue, Woods installed the PushPier System. This system permanently stabilizes a home. It uses steel tube sections that are driven hydraulically past unstable soils to the solid bedrock beneath it. This system can be tightened over time, ensuring this home will stay stable for decades to come.
A basement foundation was becoming unstable in Saint Louis, MO, as it was bowing inward and cracking. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. This system is designed to stabilize a home’s foundation permanently. It will support the basement walls and straighten them over time. It will distribute the load evenly and eliminate the worry of damage caused by commonly seen wood floor joists. This system can be tightened over time and doesn't require any invasive drilling or digging. PowerBrace’s brackets are engineered to provide strong support to the joints and protect the floor system's durability. This foundation will remain stable and secure all the time!

The foundation of this St. Louis home had moved from its original location. Owners Dan and Carol called Woods Basement Systems to see what was going on and how to get this situation corrected. After sitting down with one of our system design specialist, they found that their old piers had been oxidised and needed to be replaced. There were also signs of water coming in over there footing and the owners wanted this corrected before it got worse. Therefore, Waterguard as well as new Push Piers were installed and now the house is saved. In addition to saving the home, the property values increased too.
Megan had just purchased her new home when she noticed water coming down from her basement walls. She hadn't noticed any cracks or water damage because the previous homeowner had plastered over the walls in an effort to hide the signs. Now left with the mess, she called Woods Basement Systems.
Clearly visible are the points on the wall, indicated by the customer with drawn-on arrows, where the water was coming in and making the plaster break and flake off. Foreman Tyler S. and his team installed WaterGuard under the floors to catch any and all water, CleanSpace to cover the walls and keep the basement dry, and GeoLock wall supports as a preventative measure to keep the foundation walls from bowing. The difference is quite clear!
