Ballwin couple, Kevin & Sue, were tired of dealing with their basement flooding every time it rained.  Their waterproofing system was not working and they could not figure out why.  Realizing they absolutely needed the space for storage, they were referred to Woods Basement Systems by a friend. 

On September 11^th, 2012, System Design Specialist, David Palmer met with the couple to diagnose their issue.  David explained that the water was seeping through their walls, floors, and joints between them.  He informed them that their original waterproofing system seemed to be clogged.  This could be fixed, but he warned them it probably would not be long-lasting.  He then suggested a permanent solution, the WaterGuard system.  Kevin & Sue were instantly appealed to the fact that it was a non-clogging pipe system that does not rot.  After doing more research on the products of Basement Systems, they decided that they wanted BrightWall panels to enhance the aesthetics of the dark, bare basement walls.  Three days after their meeting with David, foreman Chris Armstrong and his crew arrived to save their basement.

Just in one day, the new interior drainage system was installed.  The WaterGuard system is barely noticeable as it is hidden beneath a layer of concrete, which enthused the couple.  The BrightWall panels, which were designed to work hand in hand with the WaterGuard system, has transformed their basement from a damp & dark room to a bright & open area that is perfect for neat and dry storage.  Kevin & Sue could not be happier with their new basement and continue to reference Woods Basement Systems to their friends.
