This homeowner's crawlspace in Dexter, MO, was suffering badly from moisture and outside air, critter infestations, so the CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed to keep the crawlspace airtight. No water vapor can get in, no bugs, and mold won't form thanks to the dry air. This, along with the SmartJack support system, will keep the crawlspace supported and and dry for years to come.
Rhonda and Geneva of Dexter, Missouri were troubled by water leaking into their basement. The water caused mold and created a musty environment. System Design Specialist Brandon B. designed a solution to waterproof the basement and prevent mold.
After waterproofing the basement, Foreman Melvin F. installed CleanSpace. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier, so it doesn't support mold growth. CleanSpace works with the waterproofing system by guiding water to the WaterGuard. With CleanSpace, Rhonda and Geneva can rest easily knowing their basement is mold-free.
Judy R was concerned about her crawlspace. Water was getting into it and pooling everywhere, and mold was beginning to grow. To solve this issue, a CleanSpace Liner was put in the crawlspace to separate it from the dirt. This will prevent water, dirt, insects, and mold from getting in. Judy can now rest assured now that her crawlspace is clean and dry!
Woods installed the CleanSpace Liner to this crawlspace to encapsulate it. This way, the crawlspace will be separated from the earth. Also, bugs, dirt, and water won't be able to get in.
Often times, homes built above crawl spaces experience some level of floor sagging. Usually, this is the result of moisture present in the crawl space damaging and rotting floor joists. This was the case in this Portageville, Missouri home, and the owner called the experts at Woods Basement Systems. To support the floors, a Woods team began by installing PowerBrace beams underneath the rotting beams to provide a stable foundation. Affixed to these were several Smart Jack supports, each capable of supporting 60,000 pounds, that were then adjusted to level the floors.
