A concrete driveway was sinking in O'Fallon, MO, causing large cracks to form. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was first installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. Additionally, NexusPro Joint Sealant was installed. This will seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. It will provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. These systems will improve the safety of the driveway and restore peace of mind for years to come!
Lori T. of Lake Saint Louis, MO had a concrete driveway and walkway that was very uneven. The concrete slabs of the driveway and walkway had sunken over the years and created numbers cracks and tripping hazards. As seen in the picture, there was a gap about three and a half inches between the driveway and garage which made it difficult to pull in the car so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended PolyLevel.
PolyLevel is an expanding polymer foam that was injected under the concrete slabs of the driveway and walkway. It lifts and levels the concrete, as can be seen in the picture, and cures quickly: it can be driven on and used in about 15 minutes which is much less downtime than traditional mudjacking.
Uneven walkways can be dangerous when they are next to your pool. That’s why Robert T called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jeremy R recommended PolyLevel injections.
Foreman Juan H used PolyLevel on the portion of the patio shown above. He injected it into the concrete which raised up the sinking portion. The injection leaves behind a dime-sized hole that will be filled in with concrete.
