Concrete Lifting and Leveling Before & After Photos

BEFORE: Similar to poured concrete walls, block walls like this one (in Glencoe, Missouri) sometimes leak at the joint between the footing and wall. This block wall foundations is also filled with mortar joints that weakened and leaked; the block itself had cracked and allowed water to leak through.

AFTER: This problematic foundation is now supported and dry. Woods Basement Systems design specialists determined the cause of the water leakage and provided effective solutions to stop future water leaks.

A sidewalk leading up to a house was sinking in Glencoe, MO, causing the front steps to collapse and become uneven. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slabs back up. This will improve the safety of the sidewalk and restore peace of mind for years to come!
