Connie H. of Swansea, IL had water coming into her basement through her walls and floors which had caused mold and rot to grow under her walls. Woods Basement Systems recommended installing a waterproofing system.
WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. As shown in the picture, it is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It sits away from any mud that may clog it and collects unwanted water from the walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump.
Connie H.'S basement in her Swansea, IL home had been damaged by water getting in every time it rained. She had a consultation with Woods Basement Systems and Woods recommended a waterproofing system.
Considering the typical Midwest winters, Woods installed IceGuards as part of the waterproofing system. As shown on the picture, IceGuards are installed on the discharge lines on the exterior of the home. If the discharge lines become frozen or clogged, IceGuards allow the trapped water to escape through its slotted openings so it won't come back into the basement.
Mold and rot had grown on the inside of the walls of the basement in Connie H.'s Swansea home. Water was leaking in whenever it rained and was causing more and more damage each time so Connie called Woods Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.
As shown in the pictures, a Twin Pack Sump System was installed. The Twin Pack consists of two powerful, cast-iron pumps that sit at different levels within the sump liner. If the primary pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water coming in, the secondary pump will work with the primary pump to ensure all of the unwanted water is being pumped out and away from the basement.
Felicia M. of Belleville, Illinois was shocked when she discovered water was collecting in her home's basement. She did not want to have to clean up a mess after every heavy rain storm, so she called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Michael T. assessed the situation and decided the best solution was to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system. Foreman Juan H. traveled to the home to get the job started. The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. It collects and drains any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement.
Felicia M. no longer has to worry about cleaning up a flooded basement. She now has a dry and waterproof home.
