Jeffrey V was concerned when he noticed that his basement walls were beginning to bow and crack. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Gregory B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Bradly P installed a PowerBrace Assembly in Jeffrey’s basement. The Brace is a system of large metal beams that will attach to the walls and keep them from bowing any further than they already have. They will also be able to straighten the walls over time.
After noticing water leaks in her basement, this homeowner reached out to Woods Basement Systems right away for a waterproofing plan. Team Woods installed WaterGuard drains around the perimeter of the basement to collect the water leaks and send them to the sump pump to then be pumped out. In this before and after you can see the condition of the leaky basement before the repair and after with the drains installed with a fresh coat of cement over the top.
As homes age, it is not uncommon for floors to begin to sag above crawl spaces, and this Charleston, Illinois home was no different. In order to lift the floors and support them further, two Smart Jacks were installed in the crawl space under the floor joists. These jacks are capable of holding over 60,000 pounds apiece!
Before this basement had no means of protection against water leaks. Thanks to Woods Basement Systems' head foreman, Brett J., a WaterGuard drainage system was installed into the flooring. WaterGuard is used to stop water leaks where they leak in and direct them towards the home's sump pump.
With no means of protection against water leaks in this basement, Team Woods sent head foreman, Brett J., to the house to install a TripleSafe sump pump. With the help of a TripleSafe sump pump, this pump will get rid of all pesky leaks that find their way inside.
