Water found its way into this Charleston, Illinois basement. This basement experienced a lot of water seepage until Woods Basement Systems installed wall anchors, a drainage system, sump pump system, and the ThermalDry wall system to keep this basement dry and comfortable all year round!

Painting or coating an interior block foundation will only slow water from getting in to a basement.  Over time, the seepage gets in between the wall and the coating and eventually leaks in to the basement.  Our BrightWall® wall covering is a great solution for block foundation walls.  In this Charleston, Illinois home, we used installed this product in combination with our WaterGuard® basement waterproofing system for a customized, effective solution.  It also gives the basement a clean, finished appearance.

This old, leaky window was replaced with a new one in order to prevent water from entering through the cracks.  The old window had begun to separate from the exterior, and cracks were extending out from the square.  The cracks were sealed, and the new window fit perfectly in the square, keeping the rain out.

When Jeffrey V. of Charleston, IL noticed an expanding horizontal crack in his basement wall, he contacted Woods Basement Systems. Specialist Greg B. determined the crack was due to hydrostatic pressure and PowerBraces were the best solution. Foreman Brad P. and crew installed the PowerBraces and the wall was permanently stabilized.
