A basement in Glen Carbon, Illinois, had some floor joists that were starting to fail. Woods came out and installed new support piers to help lift these sagging posts back up to their proper position. The PowerBrace System consists of custom cut steel beams that are fit to the height of the ceiling. These beams are secured to the floor and the floor joists above, lifting and stabilizing the failing foundation beams. With this install in place, the homeowner's stability concerns are alleviated. 

Crawlspace support blocks were failing in Maryville, IL, causing concern. To solve this issue, the SmartJack System was installed. These are steel support systems that can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in a crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans, and solve the problem once and for all! 

The original foundation support was sinking, and unstable. Now the SmartJack is supporting the structure and keeping it stable.
