John T was concerned when he noticed that his basement walls were beginning to bow. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Brandon B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in John’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house. The other end will attach to the basement wall. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls. 

A foundation was cracking in a basement in Murphysboro, IL and water was leaking out of the cracks. To solve these issues, the GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. The cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. This foundation will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!

A foundation in a Worden, IL basement was bowing in, causing cracks to form and water to leak out of them. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed to permanently stabilize the foundation wall. This will eliminate any further inward movement, and reverse the effects of wall failure. It will also straighten the walls back to their original position and close the cracks to prevent water leakage. To solve the water issue, a CleanSpace Wall system was installed. This will stop water vapor from permeating the basement walls, and drain any wall leaks down to WaterGuard. This perimeter drainage system will intercept water between the floor and wall joint and drain it towards the sump system to be pumped out of the house. This basement will remain dry and stable for years to come!

PowerBraces resecured this cracked basement by securing the walls into place. These beams are tightened into the floors and ceiling to give the wall strength to secure it into place. 

Support blocks were failing to support a crawlspace in Cobden, IL, so the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the beams and floor joists in the crawlspace and lift the floor above it back toward its original elevation. Floor bounce caused by weakened joists or excessive spans will also be reduced. This crawlspace will remain stable for years to come!
