A foundation was becoming unstable in Springfield, IL, as it was bowing inward and cracking. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. This foundation will now remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!

A basement wall was becoming unstable in a Leland Grove, IL basement, as cracks were appearing. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. This system is designed to stabilize a home’s foundation permanently. It will support the basement walls and straighten them over time. It will distribute the load evenly and eliminate the worry of damage caused by commonly seen wood floor joists. This system can be tightened over time and doesn't require any invasive drilling or digging. PowerBrace’s brackets are engineered to provide strong support to the joints and protect the floor system's durability. This foundation will now remain stable and secure for years to come!
Jim A. of Farmersville, Illinois noticed that a few walls in his home's basement were cracking and bowing. He did not want this issue to get any worse or cause safety hazards, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Gregory B. assessed the situation and decided that wall anchors would fix the problem. Foreman Jeremy R. then traveled to the home to get the job started. The wall anchors, pictured above, are made of steel and extend from the inside walls of the home to the hard packed soil outside. They stabilize and prevent any further movement of the walls.
Jim A. no longer has to worry about his home's walls cracking or bowing. He now has safe and stable basement walls.
