A basement foundation was cracking in O'Fallon, MO, and water was leaking from the cracks. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was first installed. This system is designed to stabilize a home’s foundation permanently. It will support the basement walls and straighten them over time. It will distribute the load evenly and eliminate the worry of damage caused by commonly seen wood floor joists. This system can be tightened over time and doesn't require any invasive drilling or digging. PowerBrace’s brackets are engineered to provide strong support to the joints and protect the floor system's durability.
Additionally, the WaterGuard System was installed. This drainage system is installed adjacent to the home and provides a channel that connects to the sump pump. Its design will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry all the time!
A basement in O Fallon, Missouri, needed some stabilizing to address the failing floor joists above. Woods came out and installed the SmartJack System to do just this. This system consists of custom-cut steel beams. They are placed in galvanized fill to equally distribute the weight of the building and can be tightened over time. This allows maintenance to be done as the ground continues to shift without requiring another costly install. With this system in place, this basement is sure to stay stable and safe for many years to come.
Homeowner, John J. was displeased with his basement walls bowing inward so he gave Woods Basement System a call.
After doing an inspection on the walls of the basement, system design specialist Brandon B. created a design that would ensure the homeowner safety and security. Foreman, Jeremy R. headed over to do a PowerBrace Wall Repair system installation. This system guarantees stability while also making the walls straighten over time. The PowerBrace Wall Repair system consists of steel I-beams, like the ones shown below. These steel I-beams are secured to the joists above the basement walls with steel brackets.
John J. no longer has to worry about the safety of his home
Jackie S was concerned when she noticed that her floors were beginning to sink. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. One of our System Design Specialists was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jose L installed a Push Pier, shown above, in Jackie’s basement. The Push Pier will be driven into the ground and support the portion of the home that is sinking, and work to raise its level.
O' Fallon, Missouri homeowner Stuart had noticed cracks in his poured concrete foundation walls. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Pete developed a plan for them.
Foreman Malik and his crew installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchors for Stuart. The Geo-Lock Wall Anchors are steel rods that are drilled through the wall and 12 feet into the soil. They are then anchored on both ends, giving the wall the resistance it needs to pull the wall back to its original position.
Stuart and his family can now enjoy their basement without any worries.
