Water was coming down a basement wall and leaking through cracks in Fenton, MO, causing concern. To solve these issues, the BrightWall Paneling System was first installed. This all-plastic, bright white, basement wall paneling provides a clean look for an unfinished basement. It prevents water vapor from seeping into the basement and drains any wall leaks down to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drain was installed to fix current leaks and prevent any future water from entering the home. Lastly, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. This system works to stop wall failure in its tracks by connecting the wall to the soil outside of the home. By anchoring the wall, it is reinforced and given greater stability. thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry and stable for years to come!
Imperial, Missouri homeowner Regina noticed her basement walls changing. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Nolan developed a plan for her.
Foreman Greg and his crew installed the PowerBrace System for Regina. The PowerBraces are steel I-Beams that are installed by anchoring in the floor and on the Rim Joist. By doing this they can give the wall the extra support it needs to remain straight.
Regina can now use her basement without worry!
Lisa B. of Imperial, MO had a retaining wall between her yard and her neighbor’s property that was cracking and tilting. She was worried in might turn into an even bigger problem so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed along the retaining wall, as shown in the picture, to counteract the pressure on the outside of the wall that was causing it to fail. They permanently stabilize the wall in place and can also straighten the wall, in most cases, by fighting the anchors during dry periods.
Joe R. of Imperial, Missouri was concerned about the vertical, expanding cracks in his foundation wall. He attempted to fill in the cracks with an epoxi-injection, but the wall continued to move. Woods Basement Systems installed the PowerBrace Wall Repair System in the customer's home and now the wall is permanently stabilized.
An elevated screened-in patio that is part of a room extension was sagging and shifting due to the failing support post. To solve this issue, the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the patio from below, lift it back up to its original position, and keep it in place. This system will not bend or corrode, keeping the porch stable and restoring peace of mind for years to come!
