Dan F was concerned when he noticed a large crack in his basement wall. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jacob K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Dan’s basement. One end of the anchor will attach to stable ground away from the house and the other end will attach to the basement wall. Over time, this will pull the walls back into place and stabilize them.
In Saint Louis, Missouri homeowner Richard C. was concerned about the foundation of his home. Over the past few years, he was discovering more and more cracks forming on the walls inside and outside of his home. After some research, he knew that this was a problem with his foundation. Our team had the perfect solution to Richard’s problem, PowerBrace. The PowerBrace system is designed to permanently stabilize your home’s foundation. It supports basement walls and allows for straightening over time. This will stabilize the beams and floor joists in the basement and lift the floor above it back toward its original elevation. Floor bounce caused by weakened joists or excessive spans will also be reduced. This will restore peace of mind for years to come!
This homeowner's house was starting to settle into the ground which caused cracks to form. The cracks around this window are small, but if they weren't fixed they could have widened and cracked even further. They were sealed to stop the cracking and then the rest of the house was fixed with push piers to make sure the house stands firm and prevents more cracks from forming.
