Robert P was concerned when he noticed that the floors in his house were beginning to sink.  So he decided to call Woods Basement Systems.  System Design Specialist Gregory B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jose L installed a SmartJack, shown above, in Robert’s home.  The SmartJack will rest on the ground and will support the sinking floors lifting them back towards their original position.

John and Christine M. of Humboldt, Illinois were troubled by horizontal cracks in their block foundation. System Design Specialist Greg B. inspected the home and determined the cracks were a result of bowing walls. He designed a solution to restore the walls and keep the foundation supported.

Team Woods installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. These anchors help restore the walls to their original position and provide permanent support for the foundation. Wall covers were used to cover the installation of Geo-Lock. These wall covers blend in with the basement to provide a beautiful finish.

A home in Humboldt, Illinois, needed some stabilization as the foundations were starting to show signs of failure. Woods came out and installed exterior piers to help stabilize the home. The Push Pier System will permanently stabilize the home's settling foundation and in many cases, raise it back up. Engineered steel tube sections are driven through steel foundation brackets, past unstable soils, to the solid bedrock beneath it. This will transfer the home's weight evenly on solid ground, rather than the unstable soils supporting it previously. With this installation in place, this home will remain stable for many years to come.

A foundation was becoming unstable in Olney, IL, and water was seeping through it as well. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. Additionally, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the perimeter drainage system. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable, dry, and clean for years to come!
