8 years ago, June Van Klaveren of Chesterfield, Missouri had a couple inches of water in her basement. Because her basement was beautifully finished, she did not want to have to cut out drywall in order to install a waterproofing system. When the spring rains came, however, June found that rainwater had soaked through the insulation behind the drywall and run over her waterproofing system, soaking her carpet and basement floor. In addition to a sump pump and drainage system, Woods Basement Systems installed a vapor barrier and basement wall system to keep her basement dry all the time. 8 years later, June's basement is still dry.
