A crawlspace was not insulated properly in Saint Louis, MO, and moisture was entering it. To solve these issues, SilverGlo Insulation was first installed. This features a radiant barrier with graphite infused in it that reflects heat into the crawlspace to save energy. Additionally, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This prevents crawl space moisture by encapsulating it with a vapor barrier, closing the crawl space vents, and conditioning the space to make a healthier crawl space and home!

Now, a 20-mil crawl space vapor barrier installed by Woods Basement Systems stops moisture from passing through to the home, including moisture from the dirt below and water vapor from dirt and concrete walls.
