A crawlspace liner was failing in Madison, IL, as moisture was seeping into it and causing damage. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will isolate the crawlspace from the ground. It also controls water, humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. Before this crawl space had fiberglass insulation that was falling and no longer served its purpose. Team Woods solved this issue by installing spray foam to replace the fiberglass insulation. Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls and floors of the basement. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick, durable plastic moisture barrier that is secured in place over the foundation walls and dirt floors in the crawl space. It prevents moisture from entering the crawlspace and guides it down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. CleanSpace is mold resistant and gives the crawl space a cleaner and brighter appearance.
