A crawlspace was becoming unstable in O'Fallon, IL, and moisture was seeping into it. To solve these issues, the SmartJack System was first installed. These steel support systems can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in the crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position and reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans.
Next, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will isolate the crawlspace from the ground. It also controls water, humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. The white finish will brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside. Thanks to these systems, this crawlspace will remain stable and dry for years to come!
Cornelia and Victor S. needed to waterproof their finished basement, so they call Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Luke B. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace, and WaterGuard.
Foreman, Melvin F. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump is able to keep you home dry with a primary pump, a secondary pump, and its battery-powered backup pump. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier used to collect water that seeps through basement walls and keeps it from evaporating into the basement air. The collected water then goes to the WaterGuard which is a perimeter drainage system located below the CleanSpace. It will take the water and guide it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
Now Cornelia and Victor S. have a dry basement.
This Maryville, Illinois crawl space had a dirt floor that created the potential for mold and mildew growth. Woods Basement Systems installed CleanSpace which provides a vapor barrier as well as a clean area that homeowners can use. Woods Basement Systems has the years of experience and tools necessary to transform any unusable crawl space into a clean, usable part of any home.
Greg S., Maryville, Illinois resident, was tired of looking out his basement window to see rust and weeds. His old window well provided the perfect nest for critters. System design specialist Paul W. designed a solution to beautify his window well.
Foreman Michael P. installed the SunHouse window well. SunHouse allows natural light to enter the basement and prevents debris and critters from cluttering the well. Greg is pleased with his new view.
This crawlspace used to be humid and wet. Woods installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system, and this space is now clean, bright, and dry.
