A crawlspace in Saint Charles, MO, was humid and unstable. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to keep the humidity out. This durable liner not only looks nicer, it also keeps other outside elements like rot and critters out of the space. With this system in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawlspace is protected from the humidity.
Dorsey, Illinois resident Tyler A. was distraught by the water leaking into his basement. The water seepage caused mold and a musty odor. System design specialist Paul W. designed a solution to keep the mold away.
Foreman Melvin F. installed CleanSpace, an inorganic vapor barrier. CleanSpace was installed on the walls to guide water to WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. The TripleSafe sump pump system then guides the water away from the basement.
Tyler is thrilled to have a dry, mold-free basement.
Water seeped through cracks and into this Pomona, Illinois crawl space—damaging insulation and the wood. Woods installed a vapor barrier and SaniDry dehumidfier as well as a waterproofing system, designed to keep this crawl space dry year-round.
This veteran's lending building located on Scott Air Force base was having some issues with the interior flooring. Several portions of the floor were sagging and bouncing, causing the building's owners to worry about a possible floor collapse. A Woods Basement Systems team visited the home and, after determining that the cause was rotting floor joists in the crawl space, got to work fixing the issue. They installed several Smart Jacks, capable of supporting well over 60,000 pounds each, in the crawl space underneath the joists. This was the quite the upgrade from the makeshift cinder-block supports that were there before. The floors are now level and safe, and they will be for the life of the structure.
Moisture was seeping into a crawlspace in Scott Air Force Base, IL, so the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and will allow one to easily see inside. This crawlspace will remain clean and dry for years to come!
