This encapsulation system in Vandalia was covered in dust and dirt, causing the crawlspace to be uninhabitable. Our Woods team restored the quality of the crawlspace by replacing the old encapsulation system with our CleanSpace™ encapsulation system. CleanSpace™ is guaranteed to keep mold and mildew out of the house and stop water damage from affecting the value of the home.
This dirt crawl space in Mt. Vernon, Illinois used to collect water, which damaged the wood and insulation. Woods Basement Systems installed a vapor barrier with a SaniDry dehumidifier that keeps this crawl space dry.
Dix, Illinois resident Josh M. was troubled by his wet crawl space. Water leaked in and caused a moldy, musty envrionment. The mold risked the integrity and health of his home.
Team Woods installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier, so it keeps water out without supporting mold growth.
When Julie and Mike M were concerned when they started smelling mold as they turned on their air-conditioner, they knew they needed to do something about it. So they called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Brenton K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Joshua B installed CleanSpace in Julie and Mike’s crawlspace. The CleanSpace system, shown above, is a heavy duty plastic liner that will line the floors and walls of your crawl space, making sure that it stays dry and mold free. He also installed CleanSpace Drainage Matting, which will allow water to drain out if the crawlspace does flood. This will make your crawlspace accessible, and keep the air in your home clean.
Hidden leaks behind finished walls can be a nightmare. Murali K. of Mount Vernon, IL found out the hard way as hidden leaks from cracks in the foundation, as well as the joint between the walls and floors, damaged the dry wall and wood frame above and soaked the carpet. He didn’t want to deal with any more damage so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.
Woods installed CleanSpace over the cracked, leaky walls. CleanSpace is a thick and durable plastic moisture barrier that prevents water from seeping into the basement through the foundation walls. It directs any moisture down to the perimeter drainage system below for removal. CleanSpace has an additive called UltraFresh that ensures the mold cannot grow on its surface.
