When support pillars in the crawl space settle and can no longer maintain supporting the subfloor and flooring, interior drywall cracks and uneven floors could become a problem. Our SmartJack® support jacks are the right answer to this problem. Set on a properly installed footing block, these galvanized adjustable posts will stand the test of time.
The room addition was built attached to a basement and had only one access cut through the basement wall. It was built without vents but nothing else was done within the closed space. We installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier and sealed up the inside of the crawl space. The air inside the space is now dry and the vapor barrier on the ground will stop the damp air from the ground from 'leaking' up into the home. There will be less humidity and the environment won't be a haven for spiders, critters, and mold as it was previously.
This dirty, moldy crawlspace was fitted with a CleanSpace liner and a SaniDry Dehumidifier. Two of these components of the CrawlSpace Encapsulation System work together to help with moisture production and control mold growth.
Heather J. wanted to get her crawlspace cleaned out. Debris, dirt, and water were getting in and causing the space to smell and grow mold. To solve this, Woods installed the CleanSpace Liner. This will isolate the crawlspace from the dirt, and keep it free of insects, water, and mold. Heather can now rest assured knowing that her crawlspace will stay dry and clean for years to come!
A homeowner in Effingham, IL wanted to encapsulate the crawlspace, so a CleanSpace Liner was installed. This crawlspace encapsulation system completely isolates the crawlspace from the earth. This dramatically reduces the humidity level in the air, which will eliminate mold growth and rot from the crawlspace and make the whole house healthier. The bright white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allows one to easily see that the crawlspace is free of mold, insects, and dirt. This crawlspace will remain clean and dry for years to come!
