A basement in Marissa, Illinois, needed some drains installed to help with water seepage coming in through the walls. Woods came out and installed the WaterGuard System. This system collects water and directs it to a nearby sump pump or directly into drains that lead away from the home's perimeter. Plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. With this install in place, water seepage will be an issue of the past for these homeowners.
A flooded basement can be devastating, as Jason S. of Moro, IL knows. His basement would flood over an inch in areas and the clean up took hours so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.
As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, shown in the picture. The TripleSafe consists of three pumps: a primary, secondary and battery back up pump. The powerful pumps ensure that the encroaching water will be pumped out and away from the basement, even if there is a power outage.
Cyntia Hl of Moro, Illinois discovered water pooled around the hot water heater in her basement. In addition to water coming into her basement where the floor meets the wall, the water around the hot water heater risked damanging her valuables. System Design Speciaist John S. designed a solution to keep the basement dry.
In addition to installing a waterproofing system, Foreman Jose L. and his team installed a trench drain around the hot water heater to capture water and guide it to the TripleSafe sump pump system.
Moro, Illinois homeowner Cynthia H. was troubled by water leaking into her basement where the floor meets the wall. The water created a musty environment and risked damaging her belongings store in the basement. To waterproof the basement, System Design Specialist John S. designed a solution.
Foreman Jose L. installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects and guides water to the TripleSafe sump pump system. TripleSafe is equipped with three pumps to ensure the basement stays dry all the time.
Robert B. of Moro, Illinois noticed that his basement was collecting water after every heavy rain storm. He did not want to have to clean up a mess every time it stormed, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Cory S. assessed the situation and decided that the best option was to install a full waterproofing system. Foreman Melvin F. then traveled to the home to get the job started.
One part of the waterproofing system that was installed was the Waterguard drainage system. The Waterguard, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. After installation, it was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface. It then drains it to the sump pump.
Robert B. no longer has to worry about his home's basement flooding. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.
