Homeowner, Kristofer M., from West Union, Illinois knew it was past time for him to waterproof his basement, and with the help of Team Woods, this process was quick and painless. Team Woods installed a WaterGuard drainage system into the footing of the basement with a TwinPack sump pump to pump water back outside and keep water out of the basement.
Water was entering a basement in Potomac, IL, causing damage and concern. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was first installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Next, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry and restore peace of mind for years to come!

Barbie and Don L. of Robinson, IL kept getting water in their basement. They had a sump pump but it was no longer working so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
As part of the waterproofing system installed, Woods replaced the old sump pump with the TripleSafe. Unlike the old sump pump lid that had a hole in it, as shown in the picture, the TripleSafe has an airtight lid that won’t allow water in the pit to evaporate and raise the humidity in the basement. It contains three powerful pumps, including a batter back up pump, to ensure water is always being pumped out of the basement, even in the worst weather conditions or power outages.
Barbie and Don L. of Robinson, IL had water getting into their basement and ruining the belongings they had stored there. They were tired of dealing with the mess so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.
Woods installed WaterGuard as part of the waterproofing system. As seen in the pictures, WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It is a drainage system the collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.
