A sidewalk was sinking in Germantown, IL, causing the slabs to become uneven and cause a tripping hazard. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slabs back up. This will improve the safety of the sidewalk and restore peace of mind for years to come!
A basement in Germantown, Illinois, had some waterproofing issues that needed to be addressed. While the owners did have a sump pump from a previous installation, they had water seepage coming in through the window that wasn't making it to the sump to be removed. Woods came out and installed new french drains to collect this water and guide it to the sump pump. The WaterGuard is a specially designed tube system that sits in the floor as to avoid clogging from dirt or debris. It collects the water and directs it to the nearby sump pump to be removed. With this install in place, this basement will stay dry for years to come!
This De Soto, Illinois crawl space didn't have any sort of radiant barrier or finishing.
