This Ballwin, Missouri home had water leaking in at the base of its walls. Woods Basement Systems installed WaterGuard to prevent water from building up around the outside of the walls of this basement. Water buildup can create hydrostatic pressure which leads to problems other than water leakage. WaterGuard is unique in that it sits on the footing of a home's foundation rather than in the dirt which prevents the WaterGuard from becomming clogged with dirt or mud. This Ballwin, Missouri basement had several wall cracks leaking and groundwater seepage at the wall/floor joint.  Woods Basement Systems installed a powerful sump system that included two pumps to handle heavy rain and provide backup in case of pump failure.  The bowing walls were also anchored and lined with a vapor barrier that doubles as a wall drain in the event future cracks occur.

Two bowing walls and several cracks made for a very wet basement in Ballwin, Missouri.  Woods Basement Systems installed Geo-Lock™ Wall Anchors to straighten the walls and prevent them from bowing any more.  Once the foundation was repaired, Woods installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier to drain any wall seepage to the WaterGuard drainage system (which the crew also installed) and into the sump pump.  The sump pump and drainage system were concreted in, and this basement has been dry ever since!

This unsightly sump pump in Manchester, MO was not getting the job done, leaving the resident with a wet basement.  Basic and cheap sump pumps aren't always reliable and seem to fail when they are needed most.  With the TripleSafe sump pump, if the first pump can't handle all the water, the second pump kicks in.  If the power goes out, the battery-operated third pump pumps the water out and away from the house.  No matter the situation, the TripleSafe results in a dry basement and a happy customer.
