The outside air was entering a crawlspace in Forsyth, IL, so an EverLast Crawlspace Door was installed. This system features an airtight seal that will prevent moisture, dirt, and debris from entering the crawlspace. This will restore peace of mind for years to come!
A crawlspace was becoming unstable in Forsyth, IL, causing issues. To fix this, the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the beams and floor joists in the crawlspace and lift the floor above it back toward its original elevation. Floor bounce caused by weakened joists or excessive spans will also be reduced. This crawlspace will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!
A concrete driveway was settling in Forsyth, IL, causing the slabs to sink, become uneven, and crack. To solve these issues, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. Additionally, NexusPro Joint Sealant was installed. This will seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. It will provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. These systems will improve the safety of the driveway and restore peace of mind!
This Decatur, Illinois crawl space was suffering from mold and water seepage. Woods Basement Systems replaced the existing clogged sump pumps with the SmartPipe drainage system and sealed the crawlspace with a vapor barrier called CleanSpace.
In the photo you can see a shadow at the top of the wood studs on the foundation wall: this is how far in the finished drywall needed to be because of the bowing in effect. The reason we were called out to this Decatur, Illinois home was to stop the wall from moving in any further. The wall continued to push in damaging the finished drywall and the homeowner wanted to fix the problem once and for all. Otherwise, just resetting the finished wall in a couple of inches only would buy time until the force of the inward movement would damage the drywall a second time. We installed our Geo-Lock® wall anchoring system to permanently solve the problem.
