Foundation Repair Photo Album: Stabilizing And Encapsulating Support Walls In Jefferson City, MO
Basement walls in Jefferson City, Missouri, needed to be stabilized and sealed off. There was also an exterior brick wall that needed addressed as well. Woods started by laying CleanSpace on the interior walls to seal them. This system consists of a highly durable sheet of material that will never mold or need to be replaced. The next installation was the PowerBrace System. This system consists of zinc-plated steel beams custom fit to the basement height. They are secured to the wall and floor and are anchored to the support beams that hold up the floor. This system can be tightened over time, allowing for adjustments to prevent wall failure. For the exterior brick wall outside, Woods installed the GeoLock Wall Anchor System. Heavy duty steel anchors are buried some ways away from the home and connected to the home using steel rods. These rods are then attached to steel wall plates that are placed directly on the wall. As the rods are tightened, they pull the wall back into place. With these installs in place, this home's walls will be sturdy for many years to come.
