Foundation Repair Photo Album: Foundation Settlement Repair with PushPiers
There are many signs and symptoms that may indicate your home is experiencing a foundation settlement problem. These signs can be seen both inside and outside of your home. Signs outside of the home include stair-step cracking, separating cracks, and problems with doors and windows. Homeowner Lenny M. of Mattoon, Illinois was noticing some of these signs around the outside of his home. He made a call to Woods Basement Systems to see if they had a solution to repair his foundation problems. Our foreman Jesse Crotser and his team installed PushPiers - Push Piers are designed to stabilize and/or lift foundations by transferring the weight of the home from unstable soil to the suitable more stable soils below.
PushPier System
Our Push Pier System utilizes high-strength round steel tubes and a load transfer bracket to stabilize and/or lift sinking or settling foundations.
How it Works
The foundation bracket is secured against the existing footing and pier sections are driven hydraulically through the foundation bracket and into the soil below using the combined structural weight and any contributory soil load as resistance.
Installation
