Foundation Repair Photo Album: Waterproofing and Foundation Support
In Creve Coeur, Missouri homeowners Neil and Marianne F. needed some work done in their basement. Over the years, they have noticed water coming in where the floor meets the wall during the spring season. They also noticed some cracks that were forming on the foundation walls, indicating foundation problems in their home. They decided to call Woods Basement Systems to see if they had a solution for all of their basement issues.
Our team and foreman Jose Lorenzana came out to the home to install several of our patented items to solve the couples issues once and for all. To waterproof the basement, they installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. This drainage system will catch any water that may enter the home and send it out. Next, for the foundation issues they installed PushPiers. PushPiers are installed underneath the home, lifting and stabilizing the foundation. Now, the couple is happy knowing their home is safe and dry.
The WaterGuard System
WaterGuard is engineered specifically to be an efficient, long-lasting interior perimeter basement waterproofing system.
Before Waterproofing
This is the basement before waterproofing.
WaterGuard
WaterGuard is designed not to clog, does not rely on filter fabric, has a big drain outlet to the sump and will not cause structural damage to the foundation.
The Difference of WaterGuard
The difference is that WaterGuard sits on top of the footing, instead of alongside it. This is important because it keeps the wet dirt from getting into the drain because the drain does not sit in the mud.
PushPeirs
PushPiers made of steel permanently stabilize your home's foundation.
Closing Foundation Cracks
In many cases, this solution can also lift your home back toward level, closing cracks and improving the operation of doors and windows.
