Before Post Piers
Before we installed our Post Piers, this home had weak unstable posts.
Before Post Piers / Sagging Floors
Do the floors above your basement or crawl space seem bouncy, soft, or unlevel? Sagging floors are not only a nuisance but will leave you wondering how much longer the floor will be able to support the weight of everything on it.
Better Home Support
With the piers installed in the photo above, the homeowner can now rest easy knowing her home is properly supported.
Heavy Duty Post Piers
Light duty post (like the ones the homeowner had before) were never intended to support the weight of live loads and load bearing walls.
Post Pier Installation
Our post piers require a small amount of time for installation to replace the old column with a new well supported pier.
Causes of Sagging FLoors
Some causes of sagging floors include; existing columns are spaced too far apart, floor joists and girders have weakened, or existing columns have settled.
Sagging Floors
Some signs of sagging floors include; floors slope sometimes creating a gap between the floor and interior walls, cracks in interior walls and gaps around door frames, and doors sticking or have been shaved down in order to close.
