Trouble Outside

Once Team Woods arrived at this Monticello, Illinois house, there were signs of trouble before entering into the basement.

Water Damage Found

Once the team entered into the basement, it was apparent that water had caused the structural issues because of the water residue left on the walls and floor.

Uneven Foundation

Just look at this uneven wall. This wall was in desperate need of foundation support.

How Off?

Curious on how much the wall had moved from its original position? When Team Woods measured the distance, the movement was well over an inch.

Beginning to Bow

The pressure placed on this troubled wall had caused it to bow. If untreated this wall could snap in half!

Shower

Another reason as to why there was so much exposure to water was that the basement contained a shower. This shower had leaking issues that caused trouble in the basement.

Pesky Leaks

Here you can see the damage the water had created. The brick foundation was moving, and this movement affected the safety of the other walls in the basement.
