Water Damage & Cracking
This Ballwin, Missouri homeowner was concerned when he noticed cracking inside and on the exterior of his home. Once system design specialist, Jeremy R., met at the house, he also noticed that the exterior was showing water damage.
Cracked Walls
Jeremey concluded that this home was experiencing foundation settlement. The home also suffered water damage which created even more cracking and movement in the walls. Pictured is the condition of the cracked basement walls.
Cracked Floor
Unfortunately, as time past, the homeowner noticed more cracks developing. If left untreated, cracks will only widen, deepen, and expand with time.
Geo-Locks
To reinforce the troubled walls, Team Woods installed Geo-Lock wall anchors onto the walls. These high-quality anchors are installed outside of the basement and are anchored inside to the steel plate. The tension created will slowly move the wall make into its original place.
TwinPack Sump Pump
Team Woods also installed a TwinPack sump pump to waterproof the basement. Water can quickly damage the home's foundation, so a sump pump would ensure that water would be kept out of the house.
Push Piers
Push piers were installed into the footing of the house to lift and lock the foundation back into its original, equally distributed position. Several exterior push piers were installed by head foreman, Miguel O., and his crew to reinforce the foundation.
Location
Pictured is the area were the push piers were installed. This wall was primarily were settlement was detected, so several exterior push piers were used to lift this side of the home.
