Janet from Jerseyville, Illinois had a severely damaged basement. Leaking Inside

Team Woods noticed signs on the exterior that had shown exactly where water would leak into the basement. During heavy rains, water would pour into this wall.

Wet & Grimmy

Once inside, the basement showcased the result of the water leaks. This image was taken a few days after the massive storm, and the water was still standing on the floor!

Stair-Stepping Crack

Stair-stepping cracks are one of the first signs of settlement in a foundation. The continuous exposure to water had negatively affected this foundation.

Patched Cracks

The homeowner tried to patch up the cracks, but over time more cracks developed. This homeowner needed a permanent solution to prevent further damage to the foundation.

PowerBrace Beams

The product that would solve this issue is PowerBrace beams. PowerBrace beams are made out of durable galvanized steel that is secured into the ceiling and floor. These I-beams will provide the support that these walls need to stop cracking and moving.

I-Beams

Team Woods would soon install Powerbrace beams to replace the poles currently on the walls. These beams will grant the basement safety after experiencing years of damage.
