Foundation Repair Photo Album: GeoLock Installation In Williamsburg, MO Basement
This Williamsburg, Missouri home's foundation walls were cracked quite severely in several places. The homeowner was concerned that these cracks would get worse and lead to leakage issues and possibly even a total wall collapse. To prevent this and provide support for the walls, A Woods Basement Systems team affixed several GeoLock wall anchors to the basement walls. These work by connecting heavy anchors buried in the firm soil several yards away from the home to steel plates on the interior surface of the basement walls, effectively pulling the walls outward over time and preventing any further cracking.
GeoLock Anchor Plates
These plates are connected to anchors buried in the soil.
Behind Wall Framing
Because the plates are low-profile, GeoLock anchors can easily be installed behind walls.
More GeoLock Plates
GeoLock plates can be installed on any type of foundation walls (brick, slab, block, etc.).
Buried Anchor
These anchors are buried in the firmer soil about 10 feet away from the home and are connected the plates on the inside of the basement.
