Large cracks in the exterior brickwork, separating window frames, and sticking doors are all telltale signs of foundation shifting, and this Leasburg, Missouri home exhibited all of those. The owner was quite concerned at the severity of the damage, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help. A Woods team installed several Push Piers underneath the foundation and lifted it back to level. This gallery showcases several examples of those telltale signs as well as what was done to fix the issue.

Bad Wall Cracks

This was just one of many of the cracks present in the exterior brickwork of the home. The foundation can clearly be seen shifting downward to the right in this photo.

Brick Separation

Sections of the exterior brickwork were breaking away from the others due to the movement of the foundation.

Separating Window Frame

This photo shows just how severe the foundation pitching was, causing several window frames to completely separate from the bricks.

Push Pier

This is one of many Low-Profile Push Piers used on this home. These galvanized steel supports are inserted underneath the foundation and adjusted to raise it. They are then left in place for the life of the home to provide continued support.
