Kirk from Ridge Farm, Illinois had a severely damaged basement wall that collapsed and needed a quick, permanent repair. Team Woods' system design specialist, Greg B., went out to Kirk's home to see what solution would be the best. After investigating the space, Greg decided that Geo-Lock wall anchors would be the optimal solution to restructure and support the failing wall. Team Woods head foreman, Miguel O., and his crew of installers restructured the damaged wall and placed Geo-Lock wall anchors in the ground outside of the basement. These anchors are then attached to the Geo-Lock wall anchor plate inside on the wall to create resistance to pull the wall back into its original position slowly. The Geo-Lock anchors were installed correctly the first time to ensure this wall would be restored as quickly as possible. This project ended in a job well done by Team Woods!

Wet Basement

This basement was so accustomed to water leaks that it began to affect the structure of the foundation.

Sump Pump & Furnace

This is where most of the water issues arose from in this basement. The sump pump wasn't able to handle the number of water leaks that accumulated into the space. The amount of water that would continuously leak in weakened the walls and you will see that this created a severely damaging issue.

Brick Basement

The water accumulation affected the brick foundation by causing the bricks to shift and fall.

Severe Damaged Wall

The loosened foundation caused the whole wall to fall. This project needed a permanent solution to repair the failing wall.

Repair? Geo-Lock Wall Anchors!

Geo-Lock wall anchors will help regain the structure of the loosened foundation. The anchors are installed outside of the basement wall and are attached to the wall plate on the wall to slowly pull the wall to a stable position. Team Woods first repaired the wall and then used Geo-Locks to complete this job!
