Step 1
Sod is carefully removed and a hole for the anchor is augured.
Step 2
A small hole is drilled through the basement wall and a rod is driven out.
Step 3
The anchors are installed in stable soil and attached to the rods.
Step 4
The steel rods are cut down, and a wall plate is placed over them, attached to the rod, and tightened to provide an opportunity for the wall to be straightened.
Galvanaized Steel Rods
Galvanized steel rods such as this one are driven through the bowing wall out to the anchor buried in the stable soil. The rod is connected to the anchor and is what holds the wall in place.
Minimal Disturbance to Landscaping
After the installation is complete, all holes are backfilled and the sod is replaced.
