This Saint Charles, Missouri homeowner noticed cracking, settling, and water damage inside and outside of his basement so he reached out to Woods Basement Systems for an estimate on waterproofing and foundation support. Team Woods installed PowerBrace beams to restored the failing walls, WaterGuard drains to collect the water leaks and a TwinPack sump pump to discard of the water leaks. Now, this basement is dry, safe, and stable!

Moving Bricks

The home's foundation settlement was shown outside by the cracking and shifting of the basement's bricks.

Cracks Lead to Water Damage

Once inside, cracking was revealed on the basement walls. This cracking was due to the foundation shifting and settling. These cracks also allowed water to leak inside and create water damage.

Before Installation

This wall pictured was the most damaged wall by water and foundation settlement. Before installation, this wall was cracked and stained by water residue.

A TwinPack sump pump was installed in the corner of the basement to pump out the pesky water leaks.

To restore stability in the cracked and settled walls, PowerBrace beams were installed onto the basement walls for a stable finish to the basement repairs.
