Wall Crack Separates and Settles
What started out as a small problem became much bigger when the homeowner neglected to take care of it. An entire portion of the concrete wall separated and began settling, creating a gaping hole in the wall.
Gaping Hole in Wall
The homeowner finally decided to take care of the issue before letting it get even worse. Push Piers can be used to fix problems such as this one.
Portion of Wall Settles
The part of the wall that cracked and separated away settled around 2 inches into the ground. Nothing the installation of Push Piers can't fix!
Steel Piers Stabilize Foundation
Soil is first removed from the area where the pier will be driven. A heavy-duty steel bracket is installed against the foundation's footing. The piers are then hydraulically driven through the bracket to bedrock or a stable soil layer.
Push Pier Installation
The weight of the home is transferred through the piers to the stable soil below, and the home may be lifted back toward its original position.
Push Pier Installed on Interior
Push Piers can be installed from the inside of the home. When completed, the installation will be completely covered and the floor will be neat and clean.
