Hydrostatic Pressure Adds Pressure to Home

Hydrostatic pressure is the pressure that is built-up when water is absorbed in the soil surrounding the home. When the soil is saturated, this puts a great amount of pressure on the basement walls. This causes the basement walls to crack and bow.
