Wide Open Crack
The growing size of the crack bowing in needed to be secured and safe before remodeling the basement. During times of drought the homeowner said the crack would close but that for years now it was getting bigger with heavier rains.

Properly measured and places wall anchoring rods will attach the exterior double wall plate to the singe interior wall plate.

Anchoring Rod
The wall anchoring rod that was installed from inside the basement to this exterior hole is positioned to the left side of this dug hole. It is near the roots on the left.

Tamping the Dirt PER Hole
All the removed dirt is tamped back into each hole.
Yard Cap
The top of the yard, we call the cap, is saved per each hole that is to be dug for each of the wall anchoring system. Then it is replaced after the soils are all tamped back into the hole.
Final Rake and Clean Up
The yard is raked and put back as best possible after the basement wall anchoring installation.
