Foundation Repair - Step Five and Six: The driving "RAM" is positioned

With the hydraulic "RAM" placed vertically over the footing bracket, Step Five, then Step six is driving the starter pier tube into place perpendicular to the foundation of the home. This photo show the pier after being "pushed" into the earth beneath the footing which many refer to this type of peiring as a push pier system. The ram head is in the withdrawn position and is ready to accept the next section of the peiring tube.
