Foundation wall settling.
The rear side foundation wall is settling and the basement floor cracks were letting in so much water the sump pump was not keeping up.
Digging the exterior pier hole
This basement foundation was only half the depth of a typical full basement so hand digging an exterior pier hole because of a chain link fence was manageable.
Hand dug pier holes
If an excavator could not be used, then the pier holes are hand dug.
Exterior Pier
This pier was driven with the foundation bracket in place. The next step is to attach the pier cap and apply pressure to secure the pier to the foundation.
Rear basement wall to be waterproofed.
The re-hab plan for this home wsa to make it ready for a renter. The basement walls were going to be covered with our CleanSPACE™ product. (SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTO)
