Wall Before
The back wall of the garage was being pushed away. This was causing damage to other areas of the home and the foundation. It was also pushing and moving the porch.
Wall Separation
The wall was being pushed so much that a gap formed at the corner of the foundation. The siding was also being pulled away.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in Place
The Geo-Lock Wall Anchors went just below the porch. Here they are unseen and easy to access for tightening. They have a solid foundation and since they are steel they will not rust overtime.
Along the Wall During Install
To make sure the steel rods came through the wall correctly, we dug up the floor. Here the rod can be seen as it extends from the troubled foundation back to the anchor.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchors Anchor Point in Garage
The Geo-Lock Wall Anchors are anchored 6-12 feet back from the wall. Here that distance was in the garage. You can see the steel anchor plate that will brace the wall and provide the resistance that the foundation was needing. While this looks scary to have the garage dug up it will help the wall so much!
Anchor Spots After Concrete Replacement
Once the project is finished we will relay the concrete.
Relay of Concrete Along the Wall
We will try to match the concrete as close as we can.
After Install and Board Replacement
When the porch boards were put back in place after the install and tightening, a gap can be seen from how much the wall had moved.
Gap Filled
Once the wall was tightened, the gap could be filled and sealed. Diana and Robert and now fix the siding without worrying it will be damaged again.
