When school officials discovered cracks in the Hutsonville Elementary School foundation, they became concerned. Greg B., System Design Specialsit, visisted the school to inspect the foundation. The vertical, and stair-step cracks were signs of foundation settling. He designed a solution to support the school. Foreman Jose L. and his crew installed Push Piers. Push Piers are galvanized steel beams that are installed at the footing of the foundation. Push Piers lift the foundation to its original level and provide continuous support. With Push Piers, Hutsonville Elementary School is now supported.
