Separating Floor
A separating floor is another sign of a settling foundation. Since the footing, floor, and walls are poured separately this is common.
Crack Across the Floor
This crack runs across this room letting us know half the room is settling much faster than the rest of the home.
Push Pier in Ground
The foundation sits on the Push Pier system once it is installed. By doing this we take the pressure of the home off the moving soil beneath the home and transfer it through the steel rod to the solid bedrock. Doing this lifts provides resistance from future settling and can raise the foundation to its original position.
Small Hole for Push Pier
An interior Push Pier can sound scary. The hole we we leave will be as small as we can keep it. Once the soil it set we will re-pour concrete and the new tile can be laid.
