Foundation Repair - Drain Tile and rock covered by filter fabric

The waterproofing trench is filed with rock and several rows of drain tile which is covered by filter fabric.  The fabric helps keep dirt from getting into the exterior waterproofing system.  Just like an inside basement drain tile system, dirt can clog and ruin the working waterproofing system on the exterior too.
