The best repair option for foundation wall failure is the Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System. Galvanized steel rods are driven to the outside and connected to a galavnized steel Geo-Lock earth anchor. On the inside, a heavy-duty wall plate is installed. These plates are just 14" wide to allow them to fit between standard 16" studs in finished basements. The system is tightened for wall straightening.
It's always a good idea to maintain some level of access to the anchor system post-install, should any future maintenance or tightening be necessary. Wall anchor covers are available to make the anchors more discreet. In this case, the homeowner decided to drywall over the anchors and leave openings small enough to tighten the anchors over time.
Tricia E., St. Charles, Missouri homeowner, was distraught to discover that her foundation walls were bowing. Bowing walls are often caused by increased soil pressure against the foundation. System Design Specialist John S. designed a solution to restore her foundation.
Foreman John C. and his team installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. The acnors are installed into undisturbed soil to ensure a long-lasting solution. Geo-Lock restores the walls to their original position and provides support for the foundation. Tricia is pleased to know her home is now safe.
Water often finds its way into basements as a result of foundation settlement, seeping through the seams where the floor meets the wall, and the only real way to fix this issue is to re-level the foundation. This St. Charles, Missouri homeowner was experiencing these exact problems, so she called Woods Basement Systems for help. In order to lift the foundation, several Push Piers were installed deep under the basement floor and adjusted to raise and support it.

An unstable foundation was leaking water in Saint Charles, MO, causing concern. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. Next, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!
