Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Encapsulating a Wet Crawlspace in Saint Louis, MO
Water was entering a crawlspace in Saint Louis, MO, and it was starting to enter the house. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will isolate the crawlspace from the ground. It will also control water, humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. The white finish will brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside. Next, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona was installed. This efficient, high-capacity, dehumidification system also includes an air filtration system, all in a single unit. This system wrings the air dry, and its powerful blower moves the dry air in and around the crawlspace. Thanks to these systems, this crawlspace will remain dry and clean for years to come!
