Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Encapsulating a Savoy, IL Crawlspace
Jonathan W wanted to encapsulate his crawlspace. Moisture from outside was getting in, making the space humid and musty. Water was also a problem that needed to be fixed. To solve these issues, Woods first installed a CleanSpace Liner. This will separate the crawlspace from the earth, keeping moisture, bugs, and dirt out. next, a SmartSump was installed to pump out any water that does get in away from the house. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to pull out all the moisture in the air and drain the water it catches to the sump. Jonathan can now rest assured knowing his crawlspace will stay dry and clean for years to come!

Dimpled Polyethylene Membrane
Since the crawlspace already has concrete floors, this drainage matting is installed under the CleanSpace liner to create an airspace that allows water to flow to the sump system.
